Blog update
I’ve updated the blog software to the newest version. A jump from 2.21 to 2.5. Hopefully this will clear up some of the problems viewing my site from older browsers. Hopefully!

Amanda’s fall show was this past weekend. Judith Zaccaria wrote a solid review of the piece. You can find the review here.
You can see show photos in my gallery here.
For lunch on Monday, November 11th, I was rear-ended. Photos
Mostly a “no fault” accident. Though if insurance requires a police report, the other guy would be cited.
I’ll hold comment on the rest until I’ve talked to insurers and such.
The nation had an election this week.
Cowley County, KS had a contentious issue on their ballot: Should the number of county commissioners be increased from 3 to 5?
Many people figure that the county has two commissioners who suffer from cranial-rectal inversion. (I’ll leave it as an exercise to the student to figure out which two.) Essentially the petitioners who got the issue on the ballot said, “we don’t like two-thirds of these rascals. Let’s get two new folks in there that we can work with. Were tired of being outvoted two-to-one.”
A good idea. Except what happens if you don’t like one of the new people? You’ll be outvoted three-to-two. So bring on some new commissioners, go to seven. So what happens if you don’t like one of them? You’ll be outvoted four-to-three. Nine commissioners. Outvoted five-to-four. Drat! And so on, and so on. . . .
This election seems to be a solid referendum for the “who gives a shit” vote.
